TCIT recently held its first product launch conference

TCIT releases the world’s first facial recognition monitoring integrated product

August 15, 2011

Taiwan Color and Imaging Technology Corporation (TCIT), a Taiwanese team that focuses on the development of facial recognition software, recently held its first product launch event and invited domestic surveillance industry players to participate in the event. TCIT product manager Huang Zhixiong said that the two world's first facial recognition application products launched this time are mainly aimed at providing integrated facial recognition products for the security monitoring industry and the access control and security industries.

Facial recognition technology has received more and more attention after the 9/11 attacks in the United States, and many foreign companies have invested in the research and development of high-end technology. TCIT has also been committed to the development of face recognition related application products in recent years. The iFaceCam series released this time breaks away from the current IP Cam stereotypes and combines visitor management and access control management with the original functions. Users have complete control over various aspects. The functional requirements will be fulfilled at once, and even Milestone, the world's largest VMS R&D company, is amazed! Manager Huang confidently pointed out that TCIT is the first company in Taiwan to develop its own 3D face recognition software, and its quality and recognition rate are no less than those of major foreign manufacturers. Precisely because it is self-developed, the product's biggest feature is its customized expansion capabilities and its ability to be quickly built on existing device hardware running on Windows systems. It is different from other facial recognition access control products on the market. It not only saves time and effort, but also has economic benefits.

Another access control product at the conference was also impressive! TCIT stated that this product called iFaceHost can be widely used in related fields such as general commercial buildings, community residences, and security monitoring. The system only needs to be used with a general Web Cam (network camera), and its biggest feature is that it is more convenient and efficient than traditional visitor registration and card replacement. The facial feature data of residents or company employees can be pre-filed in the system. Future visitors can go to the kiosk at the door or the access control host screen to create a file. The data will then be sent to the administrator's computer system to set the authorized entry and exit time. , and then visitors can enter and exit using face recognition through the identification device installed at the door. The database will record complete visitor visit records to facilitate administrators to verify visitors.
